Taking Interoperability to the Masses
The time is now to tell the story of edtech interoperability.
A couple of weeks ago I launched a podcast on Edtech Interoperability. It received a handful of listens but at least it was published to multiple platforms.
This week was another IMS Global Quarterly meeting. Take a bunch of smart people who work in education and put them together and you have the constituents of this amazing organization.
So, after talking with a few others in attendance who had actually listened to the podcast, we have come up with an idea.
A collaborative podcast or maybe a companion blog too, to talk about edtech interoperability in a way district leaders can understand and see the promise. Too much of what they see looks like this:
and not what they need to hear — how the technology helps teachers reach more students in more meaningful ways.
Send me an email brandon.dorman@act.org and I’ll send you a google doc to contribute ideas, sign up to be a presenter or guest, and we’ll go from there! I don’t have time or knowledge to do it all, but the goal is to have different contributors with ideas and voices about where and how edtech interoperability matters and helps kids.
Join us for a more equitable future!
