OpenSALT 2.2 Released

This week we are releasing OpenSALT 2.2! This is our first point release in over a year and it brings with it a huge suite of improvements, including:

• Spreadsheet Update and Import
• Authentication option with the CASE Network
• Set a framework document Type
• Add non-CASE fields to a framework item table

The result of a collaboration between PCG and ACT primarily, this release enables organizations to publish competencies in CASE that can then be mirrored on the CASE Network server with approval from IMS Global. The global thirst for competencies is only growing and OpenSALT is the only open source solution for publishing machine readable competencies in CASE. More exciting news is forthcoming as the CASE workgroup will soon release an updated CASE Implementation guide in the coming weeks.
